Comment #89 on issue 2142 by John.Cunningham.Bowler: Printing with an Epson Photo printer on Vista Crashes Chromium http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2142
I can no longer reproduce this problem after an upgrade to Windows-7. I.e. I upgraded a Vista Ultimate system with the problem to Windows-7 Ultimate, I did not change the epson drives (so I'm using whatever Windows-7 uses out of the box) and I can now open the print dialog without crashing when I have my Epson printer selected as default. Version information: OS: Windows-7 Ultimate, UAC set to the max otherwise W7 defaults for protection/firewalling. This is the released version of W7. Printer: Epson Stylus Photo R200 (M), "Driver assembly version" 6.1.7600.16385, "Driver assembly date" 6/20/2006 4:00PM (so I don't think it's a new driver!) Google Chrome: 3.0.195.33 (marked "up to date" in the about box. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
