Are we sure it's --gc-sections and not the async unwind thinger?
Options, in order of preference:
1) fix dump_syms
This flag shouldn't affect dump_syms.
1a) Can we look with objdump to see if it's something obvious like the
STABS getting
gc'd?
1b) agl says there's a DWARF dumper; maybe that would work?
2) revert the patch
If we revert, we should turn off the other gc-sections-related flags we
have which
are likely bloating our binary.
3) only set the flag for release
May as well do #2 then.
