This finally hit the DEV channel too. Interestingly, It did not reproduce,
when we
did installers testing for 249.4, But If I installs DEV channel from Omaha
(http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?extra=devchannel), It does install
silently.
It repros for me on XP and Win7 too.
