Openbox is a window manager and thus provides no mechanism for applying a  
proxy, and
runs without a DE.

According to
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxBuildInstructionsPrerequisites  
there is no
DE requirement, so either we should add the code that should be there or the
prerequisites page should be updated with this *new* requirement of KDE or  
GNOME (or
whatever other ones you support).
