(ignore deleted comment, I wrote the opposite of what I meant) (Note that this is about KWM from KDE 3, not kwin from KDE 4.) KWM has bugs related to undecorated windows. When you right-click on the tab strip, what's the setting of "Use System Title Bar and Borders"? If it's unchecked, do things work as expected if you check it and restart?
