Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: OS-Linux Area-Misc Type-Bug New issue 28491 by cxseven: Flash video performs poorly on sites like Hulu.com http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28491
Chrome Version : 4.0.249.4-r32475 OS + version : Linux 2.6.27 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32 window manager : blackbox URLs (if applicable) : http://www.hulu.com/ Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): OK (Specifically version 3.0.6) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Watch a video on Hulu.com with a modest computer What is the expected result? Performance better or equal to older Chrome versions or Firefox 3.0.6. What happens instead? A much lower frame rate and jankier performance than Firefox 3.0.6 with the same plugin. (I remember old versions of Chrome were also this smooth. What happened?) Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. My Flash version is 10.0.32.18-1, for what it's worth. Also, my computer is a relatively puny 1.5 GHz AMD, but that seems to be more than sufficient for smooth video in Firefox 3.0.6. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
