Comment #15 on issue 19008 by dunhamsteve: The toolbar star button isn't a drag source http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19008
For what it's worth, I regularly use the safari feature of being able to drag the "favicon" to the left of the location bar to both the toolbar and to other applications (e.g Adium, QuickRead). I dearly miss this functionality in chrome. I assume a design decision was made to not display the favicon in the location bar. Being able to drag the star would suffice for me, even if it is slightly less intuitive. Currently, I copy the text from the location bar, paste it into safari, and drag from there. (Copy and pasting or dragging the text itself doesn't give me the pasteboard data I want - which includes both the url and the title.) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
