Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 28900 by [email protected]: No way of disabling "Confirm Form Resubmission" & redundancy http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28900
Chrome Version : 4.0.227.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Go to a page that accepts form input and submit it (as an example, search for something on the Qt bug tracker: http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa? mode=show&createNew=true 2. go back What is the expected result? The same page as before will show up What happens instead? There's a page saying "Confirm Form Resubmission... This web page requires data that you entered earlier in order to be properly displayed. You can send this data again, but by doing so you will repeat any action that this page previously performed. Press Reload to resend that data and display this page." Then, when you press Ctrl-R there is ANOTHER popup asking: "The page that you're looking for used information that you entered. Returning to that page might cause any action that you took to be repeated. Do you want to continue?" And you have to click "continue". How complicated! Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. There should be an option to disable this behaviour or at least the popup should be removed completely. It's completely redundant as the page already tells you to reload to resend the data! -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
