Comment #2 on issue 8358 by 2sabio: New feature request: full page zoom to browser width http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8358
Opera does a good job of _reformatting_ the page contents to fit the page in browser window width. I believe Chrome could do also. Just decreasing zoom level to make "scrollbar disappear" is not enough, IMO. At least for me it is often the case when I intentionally _increase_ zoom level (to have text easier on my eyes). But I would still prefer seeing all the contents (with a larger zoom!) without horizontal scrolling. So decreasing zoom level back will not solve the problem for me. (Sorry for hijacking the discussion if the initial intent was specifically about "not touching" page layout, just zooming) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
