I can confirm that the problem does re-occur. I've seen it a couple of  
times the last
few days. This problem has been shown to be caused by some Dutch ad on  
LinkedIn, and
therefore should be solved by LinkedIn, rather than Chromium.

F5 helps some, sometimes F5 and then an Esc before pageload does the trick.
