Comment #61 on issue 333 by [email protected]: Request: Instead of just being able to save what you download- be able to run. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=333
Comment 58: "[clearing CC list since stupid Google code is complaining about one of the usernames on it]" Does this mean nobody of the Chrome team will be notified about this and so this feature request will be ignored? I don't hope so. Comment 60: "How many unnecessary files would exist inside the home folder each day?" At least 10 to 12 per day in my case. I absolutely don't like IE, but if you look at it's way how it downloads files it is much better (also the only point IE is better in)... This full issue there has been ZERO explaining or other useful comments from @chromium.org users. All what's done is adding labels, CCing people and merging issues. What is the reason this very old request is still not fixed, as it is one of the most requested features? (Correct me if I'm wrong), but as far as I can see this request has been fully ignored by the Chrome developement team. BTW: sorry for this useless post, but it is more useful than all of those 'issue X has been merged into this issue' emails I receive because I starred some issues. Also sorry if you think this post is too offensive. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
