@pinkerton Let me summarize current state of offline services support in Chromium. 1. There _are_ Gears in Chrome for Windows. 2. You do not want to support Gears in Chromium in favor of HTML5's Offline Storage. 3. HTML5 Offline Storage is not supported neither by GMail, as well as any Gears- relied service.
