Comment #5 on issue 28111 by pcxunlimited: It would be nice if User Scripts
were separated visually from extensions
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28111

The attached file depicts my idea for the extensions page.

As you can see, extensions are separated into three sections: Unpacked
Extensions,
Extensions, and User Scripts. Each section can be closed and opened similar
to the
"Developer mode" button in the upper-right.

Extensions are already separated based on Packed/Unpacked, then sorted
alphabetically. I've been bitten by that a few times, where I confused two
extensions
with the same name (one was packed, the other was not). In addition, after
I install
a User Script, I really don't want to see it on the extensions page, taking
up space.

This way, I can click on the little minus button and hide User Scripts; no
more
clutter! And if I ever want to disable or uninstall a user script, I can
simply click
the plus icon and do so. Convenient and intuitive, I believe this is the
proper way
to go.
