Comment #1 on issue 23204 by [email protected]: Clicking on "View full
history" results in a crash
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=23204
Chrome indeed updates automatically, but it has nothing to do with the
Themes
promotion image button, it is supposed to just go away after five runs.
Regarding the "View full history" crash, does it still occur in 4.0.249.25
(the
latest version)?
And what do you mean by "when hitting download from the settings menu" -
Selecting
"Downloads" on the Wrench menu?
So viewing the History page or the Downloads page crashes your browser?
What is your operating system?
Can you try running Chrome with a clean profile to see if the problem
reproduces (in
case it still occurs normally)?
(Steps -
Right click on a Chrome shortcut-->Properties
Append this to the "Target" field -
--user-data-dir="c:\CleanProfile"
(You can change "c:\CleanProfile" to whatever you want, or delete it after
you close
Chrome)
After you are done testing, you can remove the "--user-data-dir..." that
you added.)
I will close this issue within a week if no answer arrives.
