Gnome has a "full screen" command which under firefox hides the panel, but
has the
menu and tab toolbars, and looks like the first picture. Keep in mind I
have a
customized firefox.
F11 is the full screen function in Firefox, which hides everything except
for a drop
down tab bar, shown in my second picture. In chrome both commands turn
everything
off except for the page content, shown in the third picture. It should
still show
the address bar and tabs when using the gnome full screen command, and I
believe it
did at one point.
I think this is related to my original post, which has not been fixed, but
it may
warrant a second bug report.
