And just to be clear, I am currently running 4.0.260.0 (33405) (of chromium
distributed through gentoo).

And the identification of a process as "exe" is not a UNIX/LINUX  
perspective.

That should be corrected (yet another remnant of a DOS/Windows perspective  
in which
spaces are incorporated into filenames.

Demonstrating that the top level chromium decisions (filenames, process  
names, etc.)
are not being run through a committee that is OS neutral, and leads one to  
suspect
that the Chromium development process *is* Windows centric 1[].

1. Anyone familiar with UNIX/LINUX shell processing perspectives know that  
spaces in
filenames are extremely problematic (due to space parsing requirement and  
the process
of piping the output of a find command, etc. into the input of a backup  
command.)  In
attemtpting to backups a chromium state I discovered that a number of the  
critical
filenames contained spaces.  This is an MSDOS/Windows-ism -- and it offends  
Linux
users -- (that Google is adopting or unaware or unwilling to adopt standard
IX/BSD/LINUX file descriptor perspectves. (specicifically "command file name
consertion" polices -- which do not involve spaes -- ans
