Comment #22 on issue 27011 by guilhermektti: Gmail is https but shows insecure content (orange triangle) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=27011
To make it clear, I'll explain that there're two bugs related to this point: [Bug 1] The address bar provides the lock saying that the connection "https" is safe. Clicking on a message that displays an image, the lock disappears, and the orange triangle remains (Issue 6364 - in current stable version - 3.0); [Bug 2] After logging in to Gmail, the address bar of Chrome shows the lock only for a few seconds, replacing it w/ the orange triangle a few seconds after loading. Not necessary to click on anything, but still displays a warning of unsafe content on the page. The orange triangle remains (Issue 27011 - in current beta and dev versions - 4.0). Thus, it's perceived that there was a significant change in behavior of the browser, between versions 3.0 and 4.0 (compare to see). I understand that there isn't a simple fact and that the issue should be a "blocker" for the current beta version won't released as stable, before it's resolved. I hope I have helped. =P -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
