Understood, but I don't necessarily want Chrome's user interface language  
to match
the web page request language. Having my application UIs in my non-native  
language
not only makes them more familiar to me when I have to describe how to do  
something
at work, but it also helps me learn the vocabulary myself. That said, it  
doesn't mean
I want all my web content in that language.

(Also, I'm sure there are people out there who are using their application  
UIs in a
non-native to assist learning, but who don't know about, or aren't  
comfortable
opening the terminal and running text commands.)
