The data file mentioned in #5 makes it sound like we're doing something degenerate, rather than having a legitimately ginormous input. [I'm assuming that the cost of importing should be proportional to the data being imported. Even a 147 _megabyte_ file with 1.4 million lines should be reasonable, I would think.
