Comment #1 on issue 19299 by horner.matt: Google Maps panning slow
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19299

Okay, it took me forever to figure out how to repro this. This has been
dogging me for a while now.

Here goes:
1. Start up Chrome and go to Maps.
2. Zoom in to two or three levels above max zoom and switch to Satellite
view. Tick Show labels if it isn't.
3. Pan around.
It's fast, right?

Now,
1. Open a bunch of other webpages in other tabs (I'll open four).
2. Close the original Maps tab. <--This is important
3. Open a new tab and go to Maps again. Repeat the panning steps above.
It's choppy.

I see this more clearly on my old AMD K8 box than on my Core 2 system. The
slowness also strongly resembles what I
experienced in Issue 15310 with the Mac version (which was resolved).

Chrome Version: 4.0.266.0
OS: Vista x64
