I also notice that if I select the "Control the current page" control (page
icon) and then
select the "Find in page" option from the menu, no Find bar appears but
instead the
area where the Find bar would appear shows instead the portion of the
previous menu
that overlaps with where the Find bar should be appearing. See attached
screen capture.
The area doesn't get re-painted at all.
Again, for the record, I see all this behavior only with GTK+ 2.18. With
GTK+ 2.16, I see
no problems.
