As shown in the attached screen shot, when I set the "Application Font" of
the "Appearance
Preferences" dialog of GNOME to "wasy10" and launch chrome in Japanese UI
(not English UIs), we can
see Japanese characters in the said dialog cropped. (This is just a crazy
example and this
configuration is unusable as you can easily figure out the other part of
this screen shot.)
If I recall correctly, this dialog is a GTK dialog. So, I suspect GTK is
confused by some font
configuration? (I'm not confident of this idea, though.)
