Comment #6 on issue 30296 by AAWulf.blog: Clear Browser Data Clears
Extension Settings!
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=30296

Sorry I didn't mean "easier" I meant "would have made more sense". I
didn't mean to
imply anything about coding this browser was "easy". lol I am still
wondering if
clearing all cookies/website permissions as per the suggested "Under The
Hood"
workaround actually clears website permissions (unacceptable) or only
cookies (as the
one in Personal should do). I'm also not sure how adding a table view
(which is
about all I can gather is being done from your link) fixes this issue.

The cookies check-box under clear data in the Personal tab needs to ONLY
clear
cookies. There needs to be another check-box added for "clear website
permissions"
as per Mozilla Firefox and others. Later website permissions and extension
settings
should be separated out, but for now, generally most people don't clear out
permissions nor extension settings, so leaving them merged would be an
acceptable
temporary fix for Mstone:5. The "Under The Hood" cookies section should
only be
there to go through cookies one-by-one and view them, etc. It shouldn't be
necessary
as a workaround to a workaround for a workaround. (I still can't believe
someone
thought this made sense at all, even as a temporary fix, but I understand
time
constraints can lead to oversight.)
