Sorry, I copy pasted the wrong URLs: http://jmcgill-static.appspot.com/static/svg_working.svg http://jmcgill-static.appspot.com/static/svg_failing.svg svg_working should ideally be rendering a rectangle with a patterned fill - I'm not sure why it does not. Equivalent code generated using JS does. svg_failing should definately not be crashing. Both files attached for future reference.
