Comment #65 on issue 147 by sajblevine: Warn when closing with multiple
tabs open
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=147

This issue really needs to be addressed by the developers. It does not fit
with
Googles "Do no harm" philosophy! Having all your data input, work, thought
processes,
etc. lost because of an accidental key press or "x" click is definitely
harmful!  I
really believe that "Do No Harm" should usurp "we don't like modal dialog
boxes".
Having the availability for the user to turn on the dialog box does not go
against
your design philosophy since you can have the default as off. It simply
shows that
you care enough about your users, and their work, to allow them to make the
choice.
Please let me know when you implement this so I can again start using
Google Chrome;
for now I'm using FireFox.
