Thanks to the efforts a gentleman named Chris, some folks, including  
myself, have
gotten chrome working in CentOS.  See

I haven't been able to get flash working with it, which may be because I  
have a 64
bit system with 64 bit flash, but aside from that it's working quite well.   
(Most of
the time, flash is just an annoyance anyway, hence the popularity of  
flashblock for
firefox.)
