I was using the Developer->Task Manager to see how memory was used. I notice that javascript based sites like yahoo mail and google mail were continuously eating more RAM like at 20KB per second. Eventually, the private memory reached 1.3GBytes and I had restart the browser. The kicker is: The browser was idle all this while.
