On Korean Windows, the default UI font is Gulim(I guess), which has a
different
metric than Tahoma (the default UI font on English XP).
It's not so common that Korean Win XP users want to run English Chrome.
This issue is
not very critical, but eventually, we need to find a way to determine the UI
dimension in a 'smarter'(??) manner.
