Comment #7 on issue 25731 by swcodfather: Java plugin not loading in Chrome
4.0.223.11 on Ubuntu 8.04; other plugins are loading/working
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=25731
Chromium 4.0.290.0 (Developer Build 35507) Ubuntu
WebKit 532.8
V8 2.0.5.2
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.8
(KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/4.0.290.0 Safari/532.8
This is a problem trying to use the embedded java console client with a
Dell server,
lights out management module. It works fine in FF 3.5.6 with the same
version of the
java plugin, I have tried it with both the original version and the new
one. The
version of java I'm running is:
java version "1.6.0_15"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_15-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 14.1-b02, mixed mode)
It attempts to download the java code instead of running it.
