Comment #11 on issue 27946 by nicksears: Command + Enter should replace
CTRL + Enter on Mac

Definitely (IMO) a simple check box in the preferences would be best.
It's nice that we are given the option to open www.[string].com or search
in a new
background tab by using ctrl/cmd respectively (in safari, too, but not
firefox) but the
ability to switch this specific modifier key would be nice to have for
people who are
used to ctrl-enter, such as windows/firefox users (one of the most useful
keystrokes,
period)
Lets remember, Chrome is most likely trying to steal users from firefox and
Internet
explorer...not so much Safari.
Only great browser-integrated search behavior has come close to rivaling
this
practice. For instance, in firefox, type "wellsfargo" and press only enter
in the address
bar and you are automatically redirected to "www.wellsfargo.com" (via "im
feeling
lucky", I believe).
