Actually I just tried it with other tiling WMs: dwm, wmii => same error.
Maybe it's something with my current setup? External monitor 1280x1024 and
Dell Mini
10v LVDS (1024x576) but the LVDS is turned off.
And I'm happily running Chrom(e|ium) under XFCE.
