Comment #63 on issue 19587 by peng.thinkblue: Chromium Fails to call adobe
to open PDFs files
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19587
I've got the mozplugger from setack's PPA but I'm still ending up with a
blank window
when I try to open a PDF. I've got Adobe Reader 9.2 10/06/2009 (I think
from a
downloaded installer) and I'm attaching the output of about:plugins on
Chromium
version 4.0.291.0 (Developer Build 35606) Ubuntu (with today's daily
update).
For completeness of information I'm showing several versions of nppdf.so,
and I have
no idea why I have so many instances of it.
:~$ locate nppdf.so
/home/peng2/.mozilla/plugins/nppdf.so
/opt/Adobe/Reader9/Browser/intellinux/nppdf.so
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins/nppdf.so
/usr/lib/firefox-addons/plugins/nppdf.so
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nppdf.so
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/nppdf.so
:~$
