Ah... I am very sorry for the long delay here. I tested this now and found
that the
icons are actually installed (re comment 4).
However:
a) the 22x22 and 24x24 versions are still missing
b) the desktop file needs to be changed to include Icon=google-chrome (it
still
references the icon in /opt)
