The animations are making chromium eat up CPU like crazy (10%). I am using 4.0.266 on Linux.

I think this is a major oversight. There should be a way to specify how many times an animation should be run. Or at least provide a way to stop all of them with one key press like ESC. How come something so simple was overlooked before a release.
