I'm seeing this too when debugging a content script:
TypeError
arguments: Array
message: "Cannot read property 'focus' of undefined"
stack: "TypeError: Cannot read property 'focus' of undefined at chrome-

type: "non_object_property_load"
I have no idea where the error is coming from, especially since my code
still makes
forward progress to the next line in the file where I think this is
happening.
I get to this point by using chrome.tabs.sendRequest to a single content
script.
