I can reproduce this issue when I go to
http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/navigation/
This site scrolls relatively smoothly on Firefox 3.6 RC1 and Safari 4.0.4,
whereas in
Chrome 4.0.288.1 it is very slow.
Please not that I use a MacBook (model ID 3,1) running Snow Leopard 10.6.2
and the
scroll performance is poor when I use the two finger scroll on my trackpad
or even
worse when I use the inertia scroll using my Magic Mouse.
Scrolling by dragging the scroll bar on the right with mouse doesn't seem
to suffer
the same performance problem though.
