Are you a microsoft? Why do you think that you know what is best for user?
Why not to give a user a choice - ask him at this situation or not?
I personally close multitabs only by mistakes. And it's much annoying.
Firefox haven't
added this feature for nothing. It was a result of FF's evolution.
