Summary: Very high CPU usage when viewing plugin content (Flash,
QuickTime, etc.)
Comment #10 on issue 29939 by [email protected]: Very high CPU
usage when viewing plugin content (Flash, QuickTime, etc.)
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=29939
There's no need for more "me too" comments; we are aware of this issue, and
know why
it happens. QuickDraw-based (and to a lesser extent CoreGraphics-based)
plugins are
always going to use more CPU in Chrome than in browsers that run plugins
in-process,
but there are things we can (and will) do to improve the situation.
