http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=32589
Chrome Version : 4.0.295.0 dev
URLs (if applicable) :
OS version : 10.6.2
Behavior in Safari 3.x/4.x (if applicable): I think it uses
~/Library/Cache/,
can't see exactly where.
Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Uses ~/Library/Caches/Firefox
Behavior in Chrome for Windows:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Browse websites, populate the disk cache
What is the expected result?
They are stored in ~/Library/Caches/com.google.chrome or something like
that. This has the advantage of being able to easily exclude
~/Library/Caches from backups etc.
It's recommended at
http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/DOCUMENTATION/MacOSX/Conc
eptual/BPFileSystem/Articles/WhereToPutFiles.html
What happens instead?
They seem to be stored in ~/Library/Application
Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Cache
