As you may or may not be aware many 2k users have made the effort to install and run Chrome. So far it seems to run perfectly well in win2k which is hardly a surprise when you consider how little XP differs from 2k in real terms. Of course we are not expecting goggle to support 2k, but as this is an open source project in the first place it is very likely that 2k users will arrange their own technical support. Of course this assumes that chrome is worth the effort. In that respect the jury is out, although the speed of the browser is impressive it is not that much faster than opera as an example. When you take account of the size of the 2k user base I would have thought goggle would have bent over backwards to help. Its not to late to change direction and do something for the users rather than act as an agent of MS effectively attempting to fool users into changing an OS that remains more than up to the task of running your browser.
