Folks,

Chrome does not properly launch registered extensions on the PC.

It wouldn;'t be an issue if the "Always Open Files of this type" would
work, but it seems this option is useless. Maybe its not implemented.

If someone would so kind to assist and point me in the right direction
for the source code that handle this, I would like to take a stab in
correcting it and I promise I won't bother you with this.

Background:

We have a popular 12 year old GUI frontend that many of our customer
use.   It can run on its own, but it has a feature where it will use
the browser to launch its GUI clients.  For example, the user can go
to a web site and see a login optons:

   Login and use HTML clients
   Login and use GUI frrontend clients.

If the 2nd option is used, then our "clients" which have WCN url
extension are special triggers to start GUI clients on the user's PC.

This File Extension Association recording works fine with all browsers
- except Chrome.

I need to get that fixed.
