Hi *, there was a discussion in #chromium-dev about the need for an official wiki about chromium development topics that would be writeable for everyone, or at least for everyone that asks for it.
Everyone there agreed that the need for such a wiki is ovious, which is why I'm proposing this to chromium-dev. We came up with the following possibilities: A) Add users to http://code.google.com/p/chromium/w/ on request. Cannot be done right now because these users would gain access to security vulnerabilities filed in the issue tracker as invisible to the public. B) Make http://code.google.com/p/chromium/w/ world-writeable. There is no official support for this by Google Code, but this should be possible somehow with the help of someone from Google Code. Evan, one of the Chromium project members, is investigating this. C) Independently host another wiki at some web server. Would cause legal issues. D) Create a separate project "chromium-wiki" on Google Code and add users there on request. Easiest solution? Are there any comments or ideas on this? What must be done to get this going? -- Yarin --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chromium-dev" group.
