I think we've generally agreed internally that this has at least some utility, but we haven't been as sure how to make the UI useful and turn this into something that every user finds easy and helpful. We've been erring on the side of putting too little UI into bookmarks lest we introduce something we can never change or remove later once people have become dependent on it. Note that for many pages, fulltext search should pull them up in the address bar naturally, unless the tags never appear in the page. Bookmarked pages get a fulltext ranking boost, so even without tags, bookmarks can often be called up just by typing. So, my take is that we'd be willing to think about this, but I don't know how quickly we want to proceed. Lots of UI people are now on vacation, too, which will limit the amount of feedback you'll get in the near term.
