I actually don't know how IME works. Apple/Carbon events? I know that under
Windows, there's an entire code path for it separate from this.

This is actually a small (evolution-size) change from how it's done now. I
think we can change this for Western scripts now, and work out the details
from there. (Small pieces, etc.)
