I don't think so. 50k/365 = 140. That means 140 patches per day
including weekends. We are very active but not that active.

You can monitor two groups: chromium-reviews and chromium-checkins.
By the way chromium-checkins is saying there are 11228 messages.
Unfortunately some are spam.
As for 'wasting patches' I think that would be very subjective. One
person's pet feature is another's unnecessary bloat.
