Excellent idea re: qual script. What I'd like to do is turn these items
into sanity-check tests for a buildbot slave that specifically tests and
times issues about the build itself: build time stats, size of dependency
graphs, verify presence of symbols in Debug, etc.
Hopefully it'll be a while before we have to convert to Yet Another build
system, but it will happen some day, and a little effort now capturing
these issues in testable form will save us a lot of hassle when it does.
IMHO, there'd be way too much to unwind to revert now,
what with the buildbot changes and all.
