No, I didn't add /MP to essential.vsprops because I know it doesn't
work well with Visual Studio 2005.

I did a web search for the linker error message

    LINK : fatal error LNK1318: Unexpected PDB error; ACCESS_DENIED (15)

and the only thing I found is your checkin to remove /MP from
essential.vsprops :)

I don't have any mspdbsrv.exe process running (but I'm not doing
