Not sure when this started.. I was helping a co-worker get the chromium src:

I ran:
gclient config http://src.chromium.org/svn/trunk/src


and got:
 
c:\tmp>gclient config http://src.chromium.org/svn/trunk/src
Installing subversion ...
Installing python ...
svn: Your .svn/tmp directory may be missing or corrupt; run 'svn 
cleanup' and try again

You can also get the "prebacked" version used at 
http://src.chromium.org/svn/trunk/tools/third_party/

Files\ActivIdentity\ActivClient\;C:\Program
