If you don't care about milestone labels you can stop reading now.

You may have noticed the flurry of emails around changing labels. We
have removed the mstone-2.1 label and replaced it with mstone-3. You
will also notice that the version file on trunk is now 3.x.

As we settle into a regular cycle of releases the program managers
have decided to use a simple numbering scheme for releases. It could
be that we need a release like 2.1.x.y but we won't assume that.
Instead we will work on the assumption that we will have release 2
followed by 3. This means that if you are working on a new feature
for the June code freeze you are working on milestone 3. If you are
working on something that will not ship until the next milestone then
you are working on milestone 4. Anything not assigned to a milestone
is milestone-X.

I have updated the official labels to reflect this approach.
