I'm trying to find out if it's possible to patch chrome to run on my old windows 2000 machine. When I debugging chrome 2.0.172.28, the Browser::CreateTabContentsForURL sometimes will raise exception. According to those comments in the source files, the TabUI indeed has some incompatibility on windows 2000. What's it? Can it be overcomed? The internal bug reports may be helpful.
